Incoming President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos, Jr. will attend the planned face-to-face Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Summit in Thailand this coming November. Marcos was invited by Thai Chargé d’ Affaires Thawat Sumitmor.
Marcos met the Ambassadors of ASEAN Member States on Monday, June 6.
“The peace and stability of our region depend on intergovernmental partnerships like ASEAN; hence we aim for an even stronger relationship with each of the member countries. We discussed investing in one another, deepening our strategic ties, and bringing our people even closer together,” posted on Marcos’ Facebook page.
