The Special Chartered Flight from Bangkok to Manila will be on June 25, Thursday via Philippine AirAsia.
180 Filipino nationals are flying to Manila on Thursday, 1:00 PM at Don Mueang International Airport. Passengers have been asked to be at the airport as early as 9:00 AM. Philippine Embassy officials and Bangkok Vista Holiday Co., Ltd. will be there to assist the Filipino passengers.
Both the Philippine and Thai governments granted permits and clearances for the said special chartered flight which was supported by the Philippine Embassy in Bangkok.
The Special Chartered Flight is an initiative of a group of Filipino community and business leaders particularly of Bangkok Vista Holiday Co., Ltd. who have graciously offered their services for free and even assigned a Filipino staff in hopes of assisting the government in bringing home stranded Filipinos in Thailand. PinoyThaiyo has also taken part in this initiative.
Bangkok Vista Holiday Co., Ltd. is a sister company of Lola’s Kitchen and Viva Filipinas. It is owned and operated by Filipina businesswoman Mrs. Zenaida Vannaying who also owns Vista Hotel in Bangkok and Pattaya.
Mrs. Vannaying will also be giving free food to all Filipinos traveling tomorrow.
A second chartered flight is possible on July 5. Registration and updates will be posted on PinoyThaiyo.
