Students from Oriental Mindoro win at World Robot Games 2019 in Thailand

Four students from the MIMAROPA Regional Science High School in Bansud, Oriental Mindoro won at the World Robot Games 2019 held at Zeer Rangsit on August 28 to September 1.

This is the second time the school participated in the competition. The students were accompanied by Assistant Schools Division Superintendent Dr. Cynthia Eleonor Manalo, RSHS School Principal Dr. Marites Perez, coach Nolan Fadriquilan and some parents.

4th Runner Up, 3kg Sumo Extreme Open RC Category (66 teams)
4th Runner Up, 3kg Sumo Extreme Open Autonomous Category (58 teams)

1,600 players from 10 different countries joined the competition. The Philippines had sent around 200 delegates from different schools all over the country. 

Her Excellency Ambassador Mary Jo Bernardo-Aragon of the Philippine Embassy in Thailand graced the opening ceremony.
