The judges which include singers like Martin Nievera, Toni Gonzaga and Lani Misalucha were all impressed with the way Montri sang the Tagalog song. He was greeted with loud applause from the audience.

“Great job. You sing like yourself  and you look like Richard Poon. You let the music move you,” said Nievera who sits as one of the three judges.

“You did not just serenade me, you serenaded my heart. You spoke to my heart and I felt it,” said judge Gonzaga.

For her part, judge Misalucha sang some parts of her hit song “Loving You” when she adjudged the Thai singer.

PinoyThaiyo had a short chat with Mon the following day. He asked for support from his fans both in the Philippines and abroad.

“Hope there will be a lot of people liking on my video in I Love OPM Facebook. It will mean a lot to me”, said Montri.

Meanwhile, Montri said he wants to be a Thai OPM singer when asked about his dream by host Anne Curtis.
