Thailand-based OFW said she received the 200USD (10,000.00 PHP) government aid to overseas Filipino workers affected by the coronavirus pandemic.
Jhuden Lacatan said she had applied online for DOLE AKAP on April 13 and received the confirmation on April 14. She received another email from the DOLE evaluator in Region 4A on April 24 where she was asked to send the requirements. It was approved by the head office on May 8. Lacatan got the money assistance on May 9 via money transfer.
“Nagpasa ako ng application online kabayan. April 13 tapos nakareceived ako ng confirmation email April 17 April 24 nag email naman ang DOLE Region 4A evaluator saken para naman muli ipasa ang mga requirements ko sa email nila Region 4A team 5 naman naapproved ng evaluator at na-i- submit naman sa head office. Naapproved ako ng may 8.”
Lacatan went back to the Philippines for a holiday on February 8. Her work permit and Non B visa is valid until November 2020.
