At least 3 OFWs died within 7 days due to health related issues, as per information received by PinoyThaiyo.
The first was on March 27, a 25-year old OFW female teacher died of cardiopulmonary failure in Sattahip. Then on Thursday, a 44-year old father of two succumbed to heart failure while playing basketball in Nonthaburi. Then just last Saturday, a 59-year long-time OFW who worked in several countries also died.
Not to scare our kababayan, but to remind everyone to be more careful and take care of our health and well-being. Getting health insurance is also important in case of unforeseen medical emergencies.
Here are some contacts in case you want to avail of a health or accident insurance.
