Thailand’s Ministry of Public Health confirmed on Friday 50 more confirmed coronavirus (COVID-19) cases bringing the total number of cases in the country to 322.
Of that number 41 cases were related to previous outbreak sites including a boxing stadium and entertainment venues in Bangkok. Only 9 were new cases, unrelated to previous outbreaks.
According to the ministry, 66 per cent of those infected were male and the age group with the largest number of cases were those between 30-39 years old.
The ministry said that 80 per cent of confirmed COVID-19 cases were located in Bangkok.
