Her Excellency Mary Jo A. Bernardo-Aragon, Philippine Ambassador to the Kingdom of Thailand, gave an overview on the significance of this year’s 34th Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Summit that will be attended by President Rodrigo Roa Duterte along with other leaders of the ASEAN Member States on June 22-23, 2019.
The Ambassador also gave the latest updates and developments on the cooperation agreements signed between the two countries during President Duterte’s last visit in Thailand in 2017.
This year’s Summit coincides with the Philippines-Thailand 70th Anniversary since diplomatic relations were established in 1949.
