It’s this time of the year when sunflower fields in Thailand are in full bloom waiting to be part of your next Instagram post.
The 100-rai field in Nakhon Ratchasima is filled with flourishing bright and yellow sunflowers and is now a new favorite backdrop among social media users visiting the province of Korat.
The place is part of Rajabhat Nakhon Ratchasima University’s agricultural research center which is located in Muang district’s Chaimongkol area. It has been graciously open to the public since December 9 this year.
The public may enter and take photographs with the tall blossoming flowers from 8:00am to 6:00pm daily until January 15. There is also a feeding activity for baby goats roaming around the area.
The bright and seemingly endless sunflower field is very popular with local and foreign tourists, especially as the temperature in Korat is expected to cool down to around 15 degrees Celsius within the next few days.
