Gilas Cadets overwhelmingly defeated Indonesia, 83-59 at the 5th Southeast Asia Basketball Association (SEABA) Stankovic Cup 2016 at Stadium 29, Pakkred, Nonthaburi on Wednesday, May 25, 2016.
This is the third straight win of the Philippine national men’s basketball team. Gilas is set to face-off with Thailand on Thursday. The top two teams will qualify for the 2016 FIBA Asia Challenge on September 9-18, 2016 in Iran, the first step in qualifying for the 2017 FIBA Asia Cup.
