Philippine-born Danilo Favor, a nurse by profession was elected as the new Mayor of East Grinstead in Sussex replacing Rex Whittaker who already handed over the position to Favor on May 15. Favor will be serving East Grinstead mayor 2019 to 2020.
Favor is the president of the British-Filipino Association and has been a resident of East Grinstead for 15 years. He was an ophthalmic nurse at Queen Victoria Hospital and a town councilor since 2011 prior to his election as town mayor.
