Bangkok University, the first and largest private university in Thailand will give scholarship grants to five Filipino students who are interested in taking Bachelor of Communication Arts in Innovative Media Production. Classes will start in August 2018.
The five nominees can come from Filipinos currently in the Philippines or in Thailand. Selected students will receive 50% scholarship for tuition fees for four years. Regular tuition fees at BU is approximately USD 14,610. With 50% scholarship, the students will pay approximately 7,305 USD for the entire degree.
Bachelor of Communication Arts in Innovative Media Production is a four-year degree in the international program. This is a new addition to the rooster of BU’s international courses being taught in English.

Innovative Media Production – Network Scholarship 2018
The Innovative Media Production – Network Scholarship 2018 provides an opportunity for students or media professionals from ASEAN countries to study together in a truly international environment of Bangkok University. The Bachelor of Communication Arts in Innovative Media Production (International Program) aims to produce and groom the best future media and content producers into the media production industry.
This degree program is designed to develop students to successfully meet with the challenges of inevitable new media landscape and global-scaled innovation of the present time. Learning with international practitioners through practice-based learning, the students will become experts in content creation and applicators of computer-generated imagery (CGI), contributing art, printed media, videos, films, television programs, and simulators. They will also be highly competent in executing their knowledge professionally gleaned from school for commercialization. Students will collectively gain creative entrepreneurial mindset, and they will produce content with advanced technologies concerning the dynamic of the global societies and cultures.
Details of the Scholarship
Five scholarships will be granted to the selected participating schools/companies in ASEAN.
Each Scholarship covers 50% of the tuition fee for the entire period of up to 4 years for Bachelor of Communication Arts in Innovative Media Production.

*Remarks:
1) The Scholarship recipients will be responsible for their own airline tickets, accommodation, and living allowance during their study.
2) Non-Residential Fee of 10,000 Baht per semester is not included in the Scholarship.
Nominations and Selection Process
The School Director/Principal/Company Owner/CEO of the selected participating institutions/companies will nominate five qualified candidates to receive the Innovative Media Production – Network Scholarship 2018. The details of the nominee are to be filled out in the attached Application Form.
The scholarship recipients are expected to arrive Bangkok in early August 2018 as the Orientation activity will be on August 17, 2018. The August 2018 semester will commence on August 20, 2018 at Bangkok University Rangsit Campus.

Eligibility Criteria
The Nominee must:
- be a national citizen of country that the participating school/company is located,
- obtain a high school/college diploma,
- plan to enroll full-time in a Bachelor’s Degree program for August 2018,
- be good proficiency in English and communication skills.
Required Documents
Participating institutions are required to submit following documents to Bangkok University via post mail:
- An official nomination letter signed by the School Director/Principal/Company Owner/CEO stating the name of nominees
- A BUI Application Form completed by the nominated candidates
- A copy of high school/college diploma, or equivalent certification
- A copy of final high school/college academic transcript
- Three 1”x1” photographs
- A copy of nominated student’s passport
- A copy of English-Language proficiency test score report
