Philippine Ambassador to Thailand Mary Jo A. Bernardo-Aragon, and other embassy officials, attended “Sampaguita Night”, an event organized by the Philippine Alumni Association in Thailand (PAAT), last February 10, at the Royal Thai Army Club.
This event is a gathering of Thai nationals who studied in the Philippines during their college years in FEATI, MAPUA, Southwestern University in Cebu and many other universities. PAAT this year is led by the energetic and dynamic Mr. Supien Sutthanurak, the president of this year.
PAAT’s goal is to gather cross-border education alumni of the Philippines and share their experiences and memories through this event. Ambassador Mary Jo also delivered an inspirational message that evening, which was also broadcasted on Channel 5, under the Royal Thai Army Radio and Television Station.
