Cebu Pacific joins the number of airlines offering trips to Japan as the country has reopen its border and removed visa restrictions for tourists.
A P2,499 one-way base fare to selected destinations in Japan is advertised by Cebu Pacific beginning Friday, October 7. Interested flyers need to buy tickets from October 7 – 9 only. But the travel period for the said promo starts from November 1 until next year March 31, 2023.
Cebu Pacific said flights to Nagoya, Narita, Fukuoka and Osaka, among others, are part of the promo.
Japan Prime Minister Fumio Kishida announced the removing of border-entry restrictions during his visit to New York for the U.N. General Assembly.
“I hope many people will utilize them,” Kishida said at a news conference.
The Japanese Embassy in Manila recently announced that it would now accept applications for all kinds of visas, including a DIY travel, meaning not with the group tours.
