CEBU – After passing the Philippine bar exam with an above 90% score, a Filipina law graduate received a new car as a gift from her university.
Sandra Jane Soon, now a proud lawyer, was presented with a new car from her alma mater, the University of Cebu School of Law.
The said university is appreciative of the outcome of the 2022 bar exam with eleven of the passers being from their students who all got the above 85% mark. Soon’s score is considered outstanding.
According to the Supreme Court, there was a total of 8,241 new lawyers who passed the 2022 bar exams last February 4 and 6, a 72.28% of the 11,402 law graduates who took the prestigious exam this year.
It was in 1954 that the Philippines experienced the highest percent of successful exam takers with a record of 75.17% passing, this year is only second after that.
