Filipino tourist takes a bad fall at Suvarnabhumi

Filipino tourist Bobbie Silmalo Bayron, 33, made headlines as he fell from the departure area on the fourth floor to the second floor area of Thailand’s Suvarnabhumi Airport around 5pm on November 28, Wednesday.

He was immediately given first aid and was brought to Samitivej Srinakarin Hospital, according to a report.

Bayron arrived to Thailand from Kenya and was about to board a Philippine Airlines (PAL) flight before the incident happened.

As of writing, no further details have been given.

This is not the first time a similar incident happened at the airport. In March 2017, an Irish man leaped to his death from the same floor (fourth floor; departure area), in which investigators suspected it as an apparent suicide.
