In a Facebook post by Chiangmai One, photos of giant green vacuum cleaner deployed along the streets in Chiangmai to clear the city of the smog problem.
The 500,000 THB giant purifier is expected to reduce dust particles by half. According the website of the advertiser, “The Jet Venturi Scrubber utilizes a liquid motivated ejector design to entrain contaminated gases, generally without the need for a blower…it utilizes a vertical countercurrent design for highly efficient absorption of a variety of toxic gases… and is ideally suited to the capture of small particles less than 3 microns in size. It is effective as well in the submicron range and requires little or no maintenance.”
