Gilas Pilipinas, Philippines men’s national basketball team, takes into action again for a series of friendly games in Europe as part of its preparations for the 2015 FIBA Asia Championship.
Gilas Pilipinas faces The Netherlands on Thursday, August 20, while Estonia and Iceland on Saturday, August 22.
Players of the European teams are normally bigger and taller than the Gilas cagers and thus it’s a fitting experience before the official 28th FIBA Asia Championship which is scheduled in Changsha, China on September 23 – October 3, 2015.
