More than 4.57 million people pay last respects to HM King Rama 9

The Bureau of Royal Household has reported that more than 4.57 million people have come and paid their final respects to HM King Rama 9 from the first time the palace doors were opened to the public some 109 days ago. People are also encouraged to visit the Yen Sira Phro Phra Bori Ban exhibit at Sanam Luang, which is open from 7am to 7pm daily.

HM King Rama 9 or King Bhumibol Adulyadej is the world’s longest reigning monarch and is the cornerstone and balancing force of the Kingdom. He passed away at the age of 88 due to old age at Sirirat Hospital.
