Mother of pinay teacher in Nonthaburi dies

The mother of Thailand-based teacher Imelda Castillo died on Friday afternoon, November 15 in Nonthaburi.

Castillo’s mother, Mrs. Feliza Mercado Castillo had been living in Thailand for more than 10 years. She lived with her daughter who works under Ramkhamhaeng University International Languages Nonthaburi Project. 

“With grief, we inform you about the demise of Mrs. Feliza Mercado Castillo, the mother of our colleague teacher imelda Castllo of Cholaprathan Songkraw School. She passed away early afternoon today in their apartment in Nonthaburi, said in a post on RIL foreign teacher’s group.

Mrs Castillo lost her balance last month and hit her head on the floor. She was rushed to the ICU. Teacher Imelda is her only child.

Her remains is now at Thammasat University Forensic Lab.
