The Office of the Vice-President (OVP) is the worst performing government agency this year according to a study made by the Makati Business Club.
Despite the many allegations of corruption Vice-President Jejomar Binay is currently facing, he is still determined to run for the highest elected position in the Philippines this 2016 presidential election.
Last year, the OVP placed 33rd in the ranking. But this year it is at the very bottom in a list of 64 government agencies. Joining the OVP in the bottom are the Energy Regulatory Commission, Department of Agriculture, Bureau of Customs, and the Department of Transportation which all got negative ratings.
Meanwhile, the Philippine Economic Zone Authority and the Department of Tourism both remained in the most favorable ranks with Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas in the topmost.
The study was conducted through a survey of Philippine’s senior business executives from July 6 to August 7, 2015.
Do you agree with the result of this survey? What will be its impact to VP’s bid for presidency? Or is this just another political damage campaign against the VP?
