His Excellency President Rodrigo Duterte is set to make an official visit to Thailand next month, said the Nation.
According to the news report, the President is expected to be in Thailand on March 20 though exact date has not been fixed. The official visit would enable Pres. Duterte to tighten bilateral relations with Thailand on various matters including political, security and economic affairs, the report added.
In November last year, Duterte made a short visit to the kingdom to pay his respects to the late His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej.
Meanwhile, the Philippine Embassy in Bangkok is now making preparations for the President’s upcoming visit.
