Two teams for the women’s division from the Philippines are vying for the 3×3 Basketball Thailand Super League 2022 glory in Ayutthaya for two days beginning June 1, with familiar names such as Kaye Pingol, Kristina Deacon, and Allana Lim on the roster.
The tournament is open to the public for free at Central Ayutthaya mall in Ayutthaya District, Thailand, and can be watched online.
Uratex Dream, the No. 1 women’s 3×3 crew in the Philippines, will be bannered by Filipina No. 1 and No. 2-ranked FIBA 3×3 players Kaye Pingol and Kristina Deacon. Completing the team are UAAP alumni Alyssa Villamor and Eunique Chan.
Uratex Dream will compete against NK Bangkok Club (Thailand), Jumpshot (Singapore), and Luang Prabang (Laos) in Pool A. They will possibly play with teams in Pool B such as Shoot It Dragons (Thailand), Sriracha Eagle (Thailand), Malaysia Rising Star (Malaysia), and Discovery Perlas (Philippines) for the quarterfinals, semifinals, and the final match.
Ford Grajales, Misaela Larosa, Hazelle Yam, and former UAAP Finals MVP Allana Lim complete the roster for Discovery Perlas, the second team from the Philippines.
The women’s division kicks off at noon on June 1 and ends on June 2 with the championship games, awarding, and closing ceremony. The men’s division starts on June 3 until June 5.
