UPDATE: PAL flights on November 17 & 24 changed to Bangkok-Bohol

Due to the arrival capacity set by the Philippine government at Ninoy Aquino International Airport in Manila, we regret to advise you that your flight PR731 from Bangkok (BKK) to Manila (MNL) on November 17 and 24, 2021 will land in Bohol-Panglao International Airport (TAG) instead. This is an alternative option you can take, so you can continue with your travel to the Philippines.

You will undergo the mandatory RT-PCR testing in Bohol rather than in Manila. You will also be required to undergo quarantine at a Bohol hotel accredited by tourism and health agencies until you receive a negative test result. Once a negative test result is received, a flight to Manila will be arranged by PAL for Non-OFWs and by OWWA for OFWs, free of charge.

In compliance with Philippine government regulations, travelers from YELLOW COUNTRIES arriving in the Philippines starting October 14, 2021, will have shorter facility-based quarantine.

·         Fully vaccinated passengers –You will undergo a quarantine of 10 days, 6 of which shall be observed at an accredited hotel or facility. On the 5th day of your quarantine stay, you shall undergo an RT-PCR test. Once you secure the negative RT-PCR test you may continue the remaining quarantine stay at home until the tenth (10th) day. Your day 1 is your arrival date.

A fully vaccinated individual is someone who has more than or equal to 2 weeks after having received the second dose in a 2-dose vaccine; or more than or equal to 2 weeks after having received a single-dose vaccine.

The vaccines administered to the individual are included in any of the following:

1. Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) List or Compassionate Special Permit (CSP) issued by the

Philippine Food and Drug Administration; or

2. Emergency Use Listing of the World Health Organization.

                  Vaccine status validation requirements:

1.    For OFWs and their spouse, parent/s, and/or children traveling with them vaccinated in the Philippines or abroad, non-OFWs vaccinated in the country or abroad, and foreigners vaccinated in the Philippines

Any of the following:

ü  VaxCertPH digital vaccination certificate

ü  BOQ/WHO-issued International Certificate of Vaccination or Prophylaxis (ICV)

ü  National digital certificate of the foreign government where you were vaccinated, which has accepted VaxCertPH under a reciprocal arrangement unless otherwise permitted by the IATF

2.    Foreigners vaccinated abroad

ü  WHO-issued International Certificate of Vaccination or Prophylaxis (ICV)

ü  National digital certificate of the foreign government which has accepted VaxCertPH under a reciprocal arrangement unless otherwise permitted by the IATF

·         Unvaccinated / Partially vaccinated and Unverified vaccination status –

You will undergo a quarantine of 14 days, 8 of which shall be observed at an accredited hotel or facility. On the 7th day of your quarantine stay, you shall undergo an RT-PCR test. Once you secure the negative RT-PCR test you may continue the remaining quarantine stay at home until the fourteenth (14th) day.

·         For minors who are unvaccinated or partially vaccinated and traveling with their fully vaccinated parents, they must follow the quarantine protocols that correspond to their vaccination status.

A parent/guardian shall accompany the child in the quarantine facility for the full term of the latter’s facility-based quarantine period.

Please ensure that you are eligible to enter the Philippines. You are required to present additional travel documents during check-in and upon arrival.
