His Excellency President Rody Duterte will deliver his 4th State of the Nation Address (SONA) today, July 22, 4:00 p.m. at Batasang Pambansa.

SONA or “Talumpatì sa Kalagayan ng Bansâ” in Tagalog is an annual address by the President of the Philippines to a joint session of the Congress of the Philippines. Mandated by the 1987 Constitution, the speech is delivered every fourth Monday of July at the Plenary Session Hall of the Batasang Pambansa Complex in Batasan Hills, Quezon City, Metro Manila.

Film and television director Joyce Bernal has been tapped anew to direct the President’s SONA.
