Philippine Ambassador to Thailand Millicent Cruz-Paredes was one of the selected ambassadors to be part of a special interview series “The Diplomat”. Cruz-Paredes was interviewed by Thai journalist Pongprapas Sarengsuriyong about issues on bilateral cooperation between the Philippines and Thailand, cultural ties between the two nations, and various cultural aspects of the Philippines.
When asked about significant tourism recommendations, the Philippine Ambassador was able to highlight the rich culture and religious link by recommending the celebration of the Santo Nino (Infant Jesus) during January, the Panagbenga (Flower Festival) in Baguio, and even Christmas, which is believed by many is the longest holiday celebration.
