Ateneo LSE Thailand Extends Courtesy Call to Ambassador Paredes

In a gesture of diplomatic goodwill, academic exchange, and initiative to enhance the quality of life of the Overseas Filipino Workers (OFW) in Thailand, the Ateneo Overseas Filipinos’ Leadership, Innovation, Financial Literacy, and Social Entrepreneurship (ALSE OF-LIFE) Program core secretariat, alumni, and local founders paid a courtesy visit to Ambassador Her Excellency Millicent Cruz Paredes on the 19th of April 2024 at the Philippine Embassy in Bangkok.

“We are thrilled to share the success of our courtesy call with H.E. Millicent Cruz-Paredes, Ambassador of the Philippines to Thailand and Permanent Representative to UNESCAP. We are grateful for the shared efforts to champion the welfare of Overseas Filipinos and their families in Thailand consistent with the core values of the Ateneo Leadership, Innovation, Social Entrepreneurship and Financial Literacy (ALSE OF-LIFE) program of the Ateneo School of Government, Ateneo de Manila University,” conveyed Evangeline Tan-Alvez, the secretariat head of the ALSE OF-LIFE program in Thailand.

The Ateneo School of Government, under the Executive Education Program, handles the Leadership and Social Entrepreneurship Program for Overseas Filipino Workers. ALSE OF-LIFE has more than 4500 graduates and has been held in 32 countries and seven cities in the Philippines. The program has been running for 15 years and continues to grow in some parts of the globe.
