Some leaders of the Filipino Community in Bangkok, Khon Kaen, Ubon Ratchathani and Mukdahan met on Saturday, January 28, 2017 in Khon Kaen.
The meeting was set to plan for the 3rd Filipino Community Leaders’ Congress (FCLC) later this year in Bangkok. FCLC is now on its 3rd year. The first two congresses were held in Khon Khaen (2015) and Phitsanulok (2016). This year, the plan is to involve all Filipino community leaders all over Thailand.

Tong Largado – UBON tUBONg Pinoy (Ubon Ratchathani)
Melvin Bornasal – Mukdahan Filipino Group
Nelly Palpallatoc – President, OFW Quickservant
Jezreel Llanera – OFW Quickservant and PinoyThaiyo
Sonny Cortez – OFW Quickservant Officer in Education
Lorenzo Caballes of P’lok Pinoyz, the Filipino organization in Phitsanulok didn’t make it.
Minutes of the meeting and the proposed FCLC 2017 will be submitted to the Philippine Embassy in Bangkok this February.
A number of big companies have already committed to support the said event.
The meeting started at around 7:00 pm and ended a few minutes before midnight.
