The fun run is a project of the Adventist Youth Association (AYA) and was managed by Run Around Thailand, one of the biggest event organizers in Thailand.
AYA organizes run for a cause for students in Tak Province
The marathon is a fundraising drive to help students in Tak Province. Runners may also bring school supplies which will be taken by the Adventist Youth Association (AYA) to the beneficiaries which are mostly living in a nearby refugee camp for Karen and Burmese people.

A marathon for a cause organized by a group of young foreign professionals will be held in Chatuchak Park on August 20, 2017.
