The Philippine booth for Chiang Mai World Fair at LANNA EXPO 2018 showcased wood carvings by Dante Valdellon, a Filipino artist who has been living in Chiang Mai for over 40 years. Philippine Airlines (PAL), the country’s flag carrier and LMS Jiaogulan, producer of herbal tea also joined the expo.
Senior Thai government officials, members of the diplomatic corps, businessmen, media and Filipino community leaders joined the celebration.
Mark Brazas was a former contestant of “Tawag ng Tanghalan”, a famous singing competition on TV in the Philippines.
Hon. Kobkarn Suriyasat Wattanavrangkul, former Minister of Tourism and Sports served as the guest of honor.
