He stated that the Government would establish a committee to monitor the operations of public officials with regard to their involvement in these issues.
Lastly, I wish to thank all the officials, especially our medical personnel, who have displayed perseverance, bravery, sacrifice and unwavering commitment to help our people.

The emergency decree gives the Prime Minister wide-ranging powers to use as he deems appropriate,
“I can assure you that the government has enough food supplies and face masks. We have never been complacent in dealing with emergencies and crises,” he said.
"We are not at a stage where we need to stockpile food," Gen Prayut said.
Prime Minister and Defense Minister Gen. Prayut Chan-o-cha gave a press briefing on March 10 at the Government House, Bangkok.
